Job Title: Handy Person / General Maintenance Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled handy person to perform general repairs, maintenance, and improvement work. The ideal candidate can work independently, identify problems, complete tasks safely, and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
Repair doors, locks, cabinets, fixtures, flooring, and other building components.
Assemble and install furniture, shelving, equipment, and hardware.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and property inspections.
Troubleshoot maintenance problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Purchase or pick up materials when authorized.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Coordinate with licensed contractors when specialized work is required.
Follow all workplace and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Previous handyman, construction, or property-maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors or outdoors.

Job type: Full-time.
Schedule: _8:AM to 4:30 PM.
Pay: $___20_____ per hour.
